CHANGING
will jointly exhibit with Cybertrust Japan at CEATEC 2026, held at Makuhari
Messe from October 13 to 16. Focusing on Matter product implementation, Device
Attestation Certificates (DACs), and mass production, the joint exhibit covers
both product implementation and trust infrastructure, from product evaluation
and certification through production.
Matter
is an IP-based smart home connectivity standard promoted by the Connectivity
Standards Alliance (CSA), enabling interoperability among devices from
different brands and platforms. Home appliance, HVAC, lighting, smart lock, and
gateway manufacturers adopting Matter must address Thread or Wi-Fi
connectivity, firmware implementation, DACs, certification, and production.
Ciot Matter solutions span MCUs, security chips, Matter over Thread modules,
DACs, production-line tools, and certificate lifecycle management, supporting
implementation based on product architecture and development resources.
In 2026, Cybertrust Japan became the first commercial certificate authority in Japan certified by the CSA as a Non-VID Scoped Product Attestation Authority (PAA), a root CA not tied to a specific Vendor ID. At CEATEC 2026, its electronic certification and Matter PAA expertise will be combined with the product implementation, design, evaluation, and production deployment capabilities of CHANGING’s IoT brand Ciot, presenting an end-to-end flow from Matter implementation and certificate issuance to production-line provisioning and shipment.

CHANGING and Cybertrust Japan will showcase Matter product implementation, DAC,
certification, and mass-production solutions at CEATEC 2026, helping
manufacturers move from product development to market launch.
At the
booth, the companies will introduce Matter implementation approaches based on
product architecture. Products open to new connectivity design can be developed
as Matter end devices. Existing devices can add Thread connectivity through a
plug-in approach, while products using existing Wi-Fi or Thread connectivity
can implement Matter functionality with the Matter SDK. Product architecture,
development schedule, and mass-production plans will guide the configuration
and PoC scope.
As the
Matter ecosystem expands, security and certification requirements for connected
devices are becoming clearer across markets. Manufacturers need to consider
interoperability, certificates, certification, and production from the design
stage. CHANGING and Cybertrust Japan will deepen their collaboration across
Matter product implementation and trust infrastructure, combining CHANGING’s IoT software, product
implementation, and production expertise with Cybertrust Japan’s electronic
certification and Japan-market security expertise to support Matter-enabled
devices for Japan and global markets.
