CHANGING has long invested in identity authentication and financial security applications, working closely with Yuanta Financial Holding to advance the implementation of Financial Fast-ID. Financial Fast-ID is a standardized digital identity identification mechanism introduced by Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission, based on FIDO standards. It allows users to complete identity verification and authorization on mobile devices using fingerprint or facial recognition. The mechanism supports scenarios such as online account opening, online membership registration, and asset overviews. While enhancing user convenience, it also complies with financial cybersecurity requirements. As the financial sector promotes cross-institution digital identity interoperability, secure and reusable identity verification design is becoming a key foundation for accelerating digital account opening and online application processes.
Financial Fast-ID is built on the concept of “register once, use everywhere.” After completing registration, users can conduct cross-bank verification among participating institutions, with existing retained information automatically populated during account opening to reduce repetitive data entry and input errors. Subsequent information updates can also be synchronized through user authorization. In this initiative, CHANGING is responsible for identity authentication technology and system integration. Through the CGFIDO passwordless fast authentication system, CHANGING integrates FIDO-based authentication and authorization mechanisms into existing digital financial service architectures, ensuring stable and continuous operation.
