At the upcoming CEATEC 2025 exhibition on October 14, five technology leaders from Japan and Taiwan—Cybertrust, iMQ, Realtek Semiconductor, CHANGING's IoT brand Ciot, and FLH's self-developed brand Ferqo—will jointly debut the “All-in-One Matter Module + AI / Cloud Service.” This cross-border collaboration unveils a new blueprint for the future of smart homes and energy management.
As a global interoperability standard, Matter resolves compatibility challenges across brands and platforms. Yet, traditional appliance, door lock, and curtain manufacturers still face multiple barriers when entering the smart home market—such as communication protocol integration, cybersecurity protection, and certificate management.
The All-in-One Matter Module was designed precisely to address these challenges. It integrates communication chips, secure elements, DAC certificate services, and SDK tools into a unified platform, enabling manufacturers to quickly launch internationally compliant smart devices.
In addition, the solution incorporates Ferqo's AI-powered cloud analytics, upgrading smart homes from basic interoperability to intelligent automation and energy optimization. With this technology, devices such as appliances, chargers, meters, and storage systems can work together seamlessly. Leveraging AI-driven data analysis and energy scheduling, the system extends beyond home automation into Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) applications—delivering both smart living and sustainable energy value.
Each of the five companies contributes its own expertise to the solution, forming a complete ecosystem through close collaboration. Cybertrust provides international DAC certificate services, ensuring that devices have legitimate identities from the production stage. IMQ Electronics enhances device security by using Secure Elements to protect keys and data. Realtek Semiconductor offers chips and modules with built-in Thread and BLE to ensure stable interoperability among devices. CHANGING's Ciot simplifies secure integration across various MCUs and accelerates large-scale DAC deployment through its Unified SDK and CLM system. Ferqo focuses on AI-driven smart automation and energy management, tightly connecting household devices and energy systems through cloud data analytics.
The deep integration of these five technologies enables manufacturers to enter the smart home and energy markets with lower costs and shorter development cycles, gaining an early advantage in global competition.
