FSC imposes NT$5 million maximum fine for listed companies violating strengthened information security management measures

Taiwanese listed companies must now promptly disclose significant information relating to major cybersecurity incidents, as per newly revised regulations by the FSC, TWSE, and TPEx. Failure to comply could lead to a maximum fine of NT$5 million. The move comes amid a surge in information security incidents affecting listed companies.
